Q: Can I make changes to a Crate West Gift Box?

 A: Certainly! We love customising and curating what our new and return customers want to gift.

If you are a return customer and would like to order a different gift for the same person, we keep record and pictures of all tailor- made orders. We will make sure that our gift boxes will delight your giftee each time with updated and new products.

Q: Can I add a personalized card to accompany the Gift Box?

A: Absolutely! We provide handwritten British Columbia inspired scenic cards for all our gift boxes. If ordering online and during the checkout process, you will find a personalized note box. If by phone, we will ask for your message before processing your order. The personalised card is placed inside your gift basket. Or you can email us at gifts@cratewest.com

Q: Will the recipient of the Gift Box see the Invoice?

A: No, Invoices are not placed inside the gift box.  A confirmation email of the gift box purchased will be sent to you and will appear on your credit card statement. For corporate gifting, an email confirmation and invoice addressed to your company will be emailed to you and appear on the credit card provided.

Q: Are all products available as per the pictures on the website?

A: Occasionally we do adjust for out-of-stock products. We work with artisan small batch producers to ensure freshness and quality of the products in our gift boxes. If you are interested in a gift box based on a particular product, please contact us to confirm that it is available for you.

Q: Can I substitute an item in the Gift Box due to dietary restrictions or allergies?

A: Yes, at Crate West we are increasingly adding products to our gift baskets to accommodate special requests. Please contact us at gifts@cratewest.com or 6046714362 to further discuss your requirements.

Q: Can I add wine to a Crate West Gift Box?

A: Yes, we deliver within Victoria BC only and charge a flat rate fee of $25 for the wine. If you wish to include alcohol other than wine, please contact us to let us know your preference.

Q: How much does shipping cost?

A: At Crate West regular shipping is free throughout Canada and 3-8 business days. Gift boxes are delivered within the same day within Victoria if placed before 11am.

Express shipping at $20 is 2-3 days for national delivery. Orders must be placed before 11am.

COVID 19 continues to impact delivery schedules, however we do track shipments daily to ensure that we meet your requirements.

Q: Can I ship to the USA?

A: Due to the US Food and Drug Association restrictions on certain food items and materials, we do not usually ship internationally. We can assist you and can advise on which products are allowed. Flat rate shipping to the US is $40.

Q: What is your return process?

A: Crate West has a 100% satisfaction guarantee as we strive for the highest quality. If there is a concern with your gift box please contact us right away, we want the Crate West experience to be a great one and will do what it takes to make it that.

Q: Are Crate West Gift Boxes recyclable?

A: One of the first items on our list of “must haves” for our boxes was that they had to be 100% recycled corrugated boxes. We encourage all recipients to reuse or repurpose our gift boxes, all fill content is also recycled. We believe in sustainable gift giving and protecting the environment for future generations.
